This Privacy Policy explains how Rabble Health, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Rabble Health®," "we," "us" or "our"), collects, uses and shares information through rabblehealth.com (the "Site"). It applies only to the Site.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us through it.
It does not cover myRabble®, ClinEx® or any other Rabble Health platform. Each platform has its own privacy policy, which you will see before you use it. It also does not cover websites operated by others, including ahis.org.
When Rabble Health handles protected health information on behalf of a health plan, a healthcare provider or another covered entity, we do so under written agreements with that organization, as required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). That organization's notice of privacy practices applies to that information, not this policy.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, organization, role and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically collects technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit and the page that referred you. We use this information to run, secure and improve the Site.
Information we do not want. Please do not send us health information through the Site or by email. Our contact channels are not designed to receive it. We do not intend to collect consumer health data through the Site. If you send us health information anyway, we will use it only to respond to you, and we will delete it when we no longer need it for that purpose.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Site does not use cookies, analytics tags, advertising pixels or similar tracking technologies. The Site's fonts and files are served from our own hosting, not from third parties. See our Cookie Notice.
If we ever add cookies or similar technologies, we will update this policy and the Cookie Notice first, and we will ask for your consent where the law requires it.
4. How we use information
We use information we collect through the Site to:
- respond to your questions and requests;
- communicate with you about partnerships, programs and other matters you ask about;
- operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site;
- understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site;
- protect the rights, property and safety of Rabble Health, our users and others; and
- comply with the law and enforce our Terms of Use.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share information only:
- with service providers who host the Site, provide email or support our business, and who may use it only to provide services to us;
- with your direction or consent;
- to comply with the law, a court order or other legal process, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities;
- to protect the rights, property and safety of Rabble Health, our users and others; and
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, subject to this policy.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.
7. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you from the Site by emailing connect@rabblehealth.com. We will respond within the time the law requires and may need to verify your identity first.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. These may include the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access, correct or delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You can use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
California residents may also ask us, once a year and free of charge, about the personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the prior calendar year. We do not make these disclosures.
The Site responds to Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Because there is no common standard for "Do Not Track" signals, the Site does not respond to them.
You can unsubscribe from any marketing email we send by using the link in that email.
9. Children
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Visitors from outside the United States
The Site is operated in the United States and is intended for people in the United States. If you visit it from elsewhere, your information will be processed in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on the Site and change the effective date at the top. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
